Saya's Birthday

It was Saya's birthday on Friday so Liz and I cooked and throw a fantastic party!! We played games including an excellently drawn pin the tail on the donkey - by Liz!! We had a Tower of cup cakes and the room was decorated with danish flags and paper chains as well as everyone having newspaper sailor hats!! A friend os Sten's was there so it was nice to have a translator! We talked about his work and who he has worked with. He used to work for Royal Copenhagen, as an artist. They used to have sheds at the old factory that we inhabited by artists, these artist would received a annual wage - but everything they made belonged to royal copenhagen. He now comes here from February to september and then spends winter with his wife on their farm, where he also has a studio, just above copenhagen.
